Final conference igma2

On June 6th 2016 the final conference of the igma2 project was held in Oslo, Norway. Mr Anders Fyhn, head of the department of IMDi responsible for the Norwegian policy on immigration and integration, has opened the conference. A research perspective on the European immigration situation was presented by Sara Silvestri, professor at Cambridge University. The project coördinator Yevgeniya Averhed and the different project partners gave their vision on the project and the meaning of the igma-methodology for their regional situation. The pilot experiences of Norway were presented by Carsten Wiecek, the project leader of the community of Skedsmo where one of the pilots was held. The closure speech of te conference was done by Roger Van de Winkel of the Netherlands who focused on the need for a joint European approach of the refugee crisis in the different EU countries.
