Game-based learning

Revalento has developed game based approaches enabling users to learn together in an intercative and enjoyable way.

The Hart van Brabant region is the first region in the Netherlands to use the by Revalento developed game “Wegwijs in... (find you way in…)" in its integration process. The game is used to teach newcomers in a playful and active way how our Dutch society works and how they can find their own way in it. The game is used in a.o. Welcome house and the subsequent routes offered, the Z-route for the illiterate, in the various community centres by ContourdeTwern, and by customer managers. The game contains tailored information about the region.

The game "Find your way in..." covers 6 main themes: health, coexistence, habits, education and development, work and income, and living and leisure. The game is available in Dutch Arabic and Dutch Tigrinya. There is also a variant which uses visual material only. For more information please contact Roger Van de Winkel: winkel@revalento.nl.
